Google Analytics also uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files stored on your device (PC, mobile, tablet, etc.). These cookies enable analysis of user website usage. The information generated by the cookie about website usage is generally transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA.
On our behalf, Google will use this information to analyse website usage, to compile reports about website activities, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to us. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

10. Use of Google Ads

This allows Google to measure the number of goal completions. In addition, cookies previously set by Google are only used for assigning adverts already clicked and are therefore essential for achieving the goal. Google processes these data on servers in the USA, but does not combine them with personal data in your Google account.
11. Use of the Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager on our website, a service from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter “Google”). It only triggers other tags, which in turn might collect data under certain circumstances. However, Google Tag Manager does not access this data.
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in efficient administration of the tags required for the operation and optimisation of our website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Further information about Google Tag Manager can be found in Google’s usage guidelines at: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data entry on our website (e.g. in contact forms or the ordering process) is performed by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. The analysis begins automatically as soon as a visitor enters the website. For this analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the website, mouse movements, or device and browser settings). Data collected during the analysis will be transmitted to Google. The use of reCAPTCHA is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in protecting our website from abusive automated data collection and from spam.

The data provided when subscribing to the newsletter will be processed solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You may revoke your given consent at any time. For revocation, a simple notification by email is sufficient, or you may unsubscribe using the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of any data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
Data entered for setting up the subscription will be deleted in case of unsubscription. If this data has also been submitted to us for other purposes elsewhere, it shall remain with us.
14. YouTube Integration for Displaying Video Content
For integrating and displaying video content, our website uses plugins from YouTube. The operator of the corresponding plugins is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
When a page with an integrated YouTube plugin is accessed, a connection with the YouTube servers is established. This notifies YouTube of which of our pages you have visited.
YouTube can directly associate your browsing behaviour with your personal profile if you are logged into your YouTube account. You can prevent this by logging out first.
The use of YouTube is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers.
Details about how user data is handled can be found in YouTube’s Privacy Policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The provider’s legitimate interest is to offer a user-friendly and effective website.

The complete Facebook data policies can be found here: Facebook
Facebook does not conclusively or clearly state how it uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page are assigned to specific users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties; this is unknown to us. When accessing a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymised (for "German" IP addresses). Facebook also stores information about its users' devices (e.g. as part of the “login notification” function); Facebook may thereby be able to assign IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, a cookie containing your Facebook ID is on your device. This enables Facebook to track that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This is also true for all other Facebook pages. Through embedded Facebook buttons on websites, Facebook can record your visits to such websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. Based on this data, content or advertising may be tailored to you.
If you wish to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or deactivate the “stay logged in” function, delete the cookies present on your device, and close and restart your browser. In this way, Facebook information that directly identifies you is deleted. You can then use our Facebook page without revealing your Facebook ID. If you access interactive features (like, comment, share, message, etc.), a Facebook login screen will appear. Once logged in, you will be recognisable to Facebook as a specific user again.
Information about how to manage or delete information about you can be found on the following Facebook support pages: Meta Privacy Policy – How Meta collects and uses user data | Privacy Centre | Manage your privacy on Facebook, on Instagram and in Messenger | Facebook Privacy
As the provider of the information service, we do not collect or process any additional data.

The manner in which Instagram uses the data from visits to Instagram pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Instagram page are assigned to individual users, how long Instagram stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Instagram page is passed to third parties, is neither clearly nor conclusively stated by Instagram, nor is it known to us. When accessing an Instagram page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Instagram. According to Instagram, this IP address is anonymised (for "German" IP addresses). Instagram also stores information about users' end devices (e.g. as part of the “login notification” function); it may thus be possible for Instagram to assign IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged into Instagram as a user, a cookie containing your Instagram ID is present on your device. This enables Instagram to understand that you have visited this page and how you have used it. The same applies to all other Instagram pages. Instagram buttons embedded in websites allow Instagram to record your visits to those sites and associate them with your Instagram profile. Based on this data, content or advertising may be tailored to you.
If you wish to avoid this, you should log out of Instagram or deactivate the “stay logged in” function, delete the cookies on your device, and close and restart your browser. We have no control over the data processing by Pinterest and only receive statistics created based on the Pinterest Tag. This allows us to measure your subsequent usage patterns for site analysis and event tracking if you have arrived at our site via a Pinterest ad. In cases of retargeting technology, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device in order to collect pseudonymised data about your interests in a pseudonymised user profile and therefore customise advertising to match the stored information. Competitions on the Facebook and Instagram pages are organised by Hej Kitchen c/o Ehrmann Wohn- & Einrichtungs GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Hej Kitchen or organiser). By participating, the participant (hereinafter referred to as "the participant" for the sake of simplicity) agrees to these competition terms and conditions.
All persons who are over 18 years of age at the time of participation and are resident in the Federal Republic of Germany are eligible to participate. All employees of the organiser and their relatives as well as employees of affiliated companies (§ 15 AktG) are excluded from participation.
Participation in the competition requires sending a private message, and/or a comment, and/or a like and/or sharing the post. All participants are entered into a prize draw. After the end of the competition period, a winner will be drawn from the prize draw and notified by message on Facebook/Instagram about their win.
If a participant does not respond to the prize notification within a short period of time, a new winner will be drawn from the prize draw.
Multiple participation is excluded.
The organiser is entitled to exclude individuals from participation in the competition, in particular in the following cases, or to subsequently disqualify winners: influencing the participation process, disruption of the process or programme, harassment or threatening of employees or other participants, (attempting to) disseminate illegal or immoral ideas. If there are grounds for exclusion from participation, the organiser will not pay out or distribute any prizes in this case; if prizes have already been awarded, the organiser is entitled to reclaim them.
The organiser will always endeavour to make correct statements on the social media platforms or on the Facebook and Instagram pages or in the competition posts. However, the organiser is not liable for incorrect statements (e.g. erroneous statements about the prize) or technical errors in connection with the prize decision. It should be noted that the social media platforms are not involved in the competition. The competitions are organised by Hej Kitchen.
The details of the respective prize will be announced in the competition call or post on the respective Facebook or Instagram page. The prize will only be handed over by the organiser to persons who fulfil all the requirements of these conditions of participation or the organiser will reclaim the prize if it is subsequently found that the requirements for a prize are not met, in particular in the cases set out in section 4.
Prizes will not be distributed to minors.
A cash payment, exchange or conversion of the prize is not possible. If prizes are personal or name-specific, for example guest list places, name-specific tickets or a personalised product, the prize may not be passed on to third parties. Participation in the event (in the case of winning tickets or guest list places) is only possible by the winner and not by third parties.
The prize will be sent to the winner by post unless otherwise stated in the competition post.
In order to participate in the competition, it is essential that the organiser processes your personal data (e.g. surname, first name, address, email address, telephone number, mobile number) (i.e. collects, stores and uses it). Reference to general data protection notice: The organiser takes the handling of your personal data very seriously. All further information on data processing can be found in our general data protection notice.
The organiser reserves the right to terminate or end the competition at any time - in particular in the event of force majeure and/or if the competition cannot be held or continued for organisational, technical or legal reasons. If the competition is terminated or ended for these reasons, participants have no claims against the organiser.
Legal recourse is excluded for the implementation of the competition, the decision on the prize and also the payment or distribution of the prize.
